Slurp! (2023), a duet for soprano saxophone and alto saxophone, is inspired by beverages and how they affect our physical and mental state. Its three movements trace our typical choice of drink as we go about our day: Espresso Presto is all about our morning cup of joe and the jitters, productivity, and unfortunate gastronomical effects it often brings; soda| coke| pop| soda pop dives into our favorite fizzy drink and swims in the carbonation; and Bottoms Up! tracks a night of boozy delirium until we ultimately fall flat on our faces.

Slurp! was, with great admiration, written for Lati2de.
